New to VM installation done today but engineering says there is so problems so no internet at the moment

The engineer came today to put the line in the house he connected everything but he says I can’t have internet atm maybe by the end of the day i will(I don’t think so)he says keep in touch with me etc someone else might come tommorow.

 

has anyone else has same issues when they first installed the line??
