Network protection alerts

Today I have started to get network protection messages to say something has been blocked, it is every 3 minutes and we can’t work out what’s causing it and why only starting today. Have run virus scans in 2 android devices and nothing, turned them off in case yet still something is going on.

Anyone know what this means and how I can find out what’s going on.

    This is normal as the app reports that the hub’s Web Safe filters have blocked something like ad‑tracking. You don't have a virus and can stop worrying.

      Thank you, I had never noticed it before so was having a panic especially as son keeps downloading apps on his phone and one yesterday kept giving ad pop ups when he was trying to watch Disney. At least I know that web safe is working properly.

    We are gazing into a crystal ball here and it is super cloudy ...

    1) What device / computer / operating system has this problem ? 

    2) What anti virus package / security suite etc displaying the messages ? 

    3) Please share screen shots as it is important to read exactly what the messages say.

    4) Have you used Google to discover what has been written about the messages,
         be sure to type in the exact wording, a summary of what you think it means will not do.

      It’s the Virgin Media WiFi connect app, it’s displaying at new block every 3 minutes and I don’t know what it is blocking as it doesn’t tell you.
