Need to order another Pod

The engineer who installed my system didn't bother checking the signal strength before he left, he just gave me 1 pod then left as he was finished his shift, but even with that plugged in I'm only getting 4mbps in the office room and 9mbps in the guest bedroom, I'm paying for the gig1 package so I should be able to get 3 pods, but even just 1 extra would fix my issue but trying to get in contact with anyone is impossible that's why I've turned to this as I'm desperate, only had it installed for 1 day and already not happy, I've done the samknows tests and there's no way too order the pods online that doesn't send you around in circles ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

  • Pretty Pleaseeeeee someone help me, I'm stressed to the max, i was looking forward to getting the Internet put in for weeks and now I'm stuck with no Internet in my computer room ๐Ÿ˜ข

  • You won't get 1gbps speeds even if you add another pod, wifi simply doesn't run that fast. You need to hardwire your devices into the hub to get those sorts of speeds. As for your WiFi, you'd be better off buying an access point from amazon and wiring it into the hub with a network cable rather than using a pod. Or you can use powerline adaptors to run the network over the mains, then you can put the access point wherever you need it to give you better signal coverage.

      oh I know I won't get 1gb wifi, virgin say there should be 30mbps wifi signal as minimum before they say a pod is required to extend the signal to the blackspots in the house, I have 1 pod which extends the signal a lot but it's still not big enough to reach the back of the house, 1 more pod in the back of the house bouncing the signal from the 1st pod and the router would cover all the house and wifi signal wouldn't be an issue anywhere if that was done
