Some sites ending .liv.ac.uk now give me "This site can't be reached" and "xxx.liv.ac.uk took too long to respond". They are working find over mobile data. The problem affects all devices on the home network. I've tried restarting and resetting the router. Is this some DNS issue? Anyone else getting this in the Merseyside area?
Help please - these are important work addresses!

change your DNS on device (not hub) to use 194.168.4.123 and 194.168.8.123
Thanks, but that doesn't work for me. I think I also tried google DNS 8.8.8.8 yesterday. Any other thoughts?
VM DNS and Google DNS are returning the same IPs, i.e. DNS looks ok.
Perhaps a local routing issue is affecting the connection.
Try > ping xxx.liv.ac.uk
Also try > tracert xxx.liv.ac.uk
From Colchester, Essex we can access these websites via Virgin Media home internet :
