Missed Appointment

I was due a visit from an engineer today between 12 and 4, but never heard anything. On checking my letterbox after 5, there was a note to say the engineer had called at 13:20. I have a doorbell that was not rung. I live upstairs, with a door at the top, so I'm unlikely to hear indistinct knocking. I object to being charged £25 when I have been in all day. Plus my intermittent internet is still continuing from at least a month ago. Therefore I require snorher appointment and request that the engineer USES THE DOORBELL. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

    Hi Pincushion31,

Does the doorbell use the wifi?  If so it's possible that the doorbell won't be working 100 per cent of the time due to your intermittent internet.   The techs/engineers generally (though not always) send a text message around 20 minutes before they are due to arrive, so I suggest you make sure that you have up to date contact details in your My Virgin Media account.

It can take a couple of days for a member of the forum team to pick up your post (possibly longer with it being the Christmas period and associated bank holidays) so if you want quicker access you should either phone VM and select option 2 (faults) when dialing 150 from a VM landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.

You can also get in touch using one of the following contact methods:

    WhatsApp: 0780 3089 684

Or you can contact VM on Social Media by either messaging

    Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/virginmedia/

    Or Instagram DM (@virginmedia)

Again responses may be slower that usual due to the holiday period.
