iPhone problem
I’ve had an ongoing iPhone problem ever since I upgraded to an iPhone 15 last year.
It connects to my virgin hub3 fine via WiFi but the internet connection is often intermittent. Web pages and apps often won’t load with no warning and while my phone still appears to be connected to WiFi. Sometimes my phoned will tell me there no internet connection or ask to switch to mobile data instead because there is no internet signal. There is no warning light on the hub when this happens and all other devices on the network work fine with no connection issues and don’t seem to be affected at the same time. So the problem appears exclusive to the iPhone.
I have just avoided the issue for the last year by using other devices in the house but I’ve recently gone self employed and need to use my phone more to make calls using data inside the house (the mobile signal is poor at the house). So this is becoming a real issue.Does anyone have any ideas how I could try and sort this. I’ve reset the hub and the network settings on my iPhone, but beyond that I’m stuck
Are you using a "Private Address" in the Apple settings for that WiFi SSID? I believe it’s the default, try turning it off.
