iPhone location does not show up unless connected to wifi

I have location services enabled, and my iPhone shows that I am sharing my location with family using both FindMy and Google Maps. I have cellular turned on for both of these apps as well. When I am connected to wifi, they can see my location. As soon as I am off wifi and on the Virgin Network, my location shows as either off-line, the last location that I was connected to wifi, or Location Not Found. This also occurred with my last iPhone. The previous owner of the cell phone was on a different network and had no issues with these apps. Can anyone help?

    You need to ask this question on the O2 community forum, this forum only deals with VM broadband, TV and landline telephones.

      Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community Forums, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with your location on your iPhone. As we no longer have the Virgin Mobile network and is now O2 are you referring that when on mobile services your location cannot be established? If this is the case can you please go into your settings on your iPhone, then Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services & ensure that your Mobile Network Search is on. This will ensure you are located by your phones network provider.
