Just came back to say again thanks.
Late last night I had a connection of long enough to run the 20 minute online status check, and it said all my equipment, links etc., were okay.
But this time when i did a status update it admitted there was a fault. And I should come back in 24 hours (which has now happened 3 times.
So today I spoke to support and an engineer will come a check. But i would have thought 3 automated reports that there are problems with the internet connection should have meant they would have arranged an automatic repair or whatever.
Instead of sending me on a wild goose chase about was it my settings, etc..
Interestingly, my modem now shows the On light (horizontal yellow light) at the bottom, but the connection light that are either green or red do not display. I suspect it is just old. A Hub 3
