Intermittent Signal for over 4 months

Hello, keep having intermittent signal and had this issues for over 4 months now, it is really, really annoying.

I have had an engineer come and it did nothing. The issue is daily but starting from thursdays and on the weekends it gets a lot worse.

I cannot even write a complaint as the site says something went wrong.

What can I do?

    See this...

Firstly...    Can we check… are your issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables?  If you don't know, can you check on one to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi connection issue or it could be network connection/Hub related?
What Hub model is it?   What are the various Hub lights showing/doing when this happens if a Hub3 is the base light a steady white(ish) or flashing green?

    If wired comnnections

  • Hello horrorbubbles,

Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your connection at the moment.

We can see that you have been in touch and been able to arrange an engineer visit to try and get this resolved. Please do let us know how the visit goes and if you need any further support.

    Kind Regards,

    Steven_L

Sounds like heavy users hammering the network segment or over subscription. If it is, network monitoring should pick this up, but it's not a quick fix.

  • It did not go well. The engineers claimed the issue was with the cable connecting to the box outside, and ilto be replaced by anither company, which they did today (I guess, I was not at home but the engineer texted me saying it was done) and now I have no internet at all.......

It is a Hub 3, and the two opposite green arrows are turning on and off, with no internet connection. No wi-fi, no ethernet.

Update: a booking has been made on the 24th of this month to install a 10-meter cable outside the property. So that means I have to stay without a servoce until then and also continue to pay the usual on top of it, for something that the engineers caused, as I had service before, just bad. This is insane.
