Hub 5 password

I've never had a problem accessing my router before until today that is.

My problem stems from the fact when the engineer replaced the hub he left the ID plate with wi fi password from the old one, so the password is not correct.

At that time, the laptop must have had the password (correct) in memory but I'm  trying to get my wi fi password from the router and no can't get in.

I don't believe Windows has a WPA (win 10 or 11) and the reason I'm trying to ID the password is to put my spare laptop on the network.

I tried to see if my phone would give it up but no.

I can't see an option to reset it when I type 168.192.0.1

Am I missing anything here?

Appreciate any feedback on this. Keith

The login password for the hub 5 is on the bottom of the hub but you may need to reset the hub

when you login the hub you can change the wifi password with any luck note your SSID would of changed so you need to go round resetting up devices to the new SSID

As I said, the engineer when he swapped hubs, left the old plate and that is incorrect. Thank you, I have done a bit more research and have managed to use WPS to connect to the router, so problem  solved. I do appreciated the prompt response to the question.  Keith

Look on the bottom side of the VM Hub for the factory Hub and Wi-Fi passwords.

To avoid issues we always use a network cable from the PC / laptop to the VM Hub when making any changes the Hub's admin menu.

    Hi Keith,

The url is http://192.168.0.1/ and not 168.192.0.1

The password is on the base of the hub5

You ncan use the Connect app to share your WiFi details, simply show your friends the Home page of the app, or scan a QR code then click to share your details.
