Hub 5 not connecting

I had limited wifi with hub 2, then replaced to hub 5 but engineer could not sync with his pda . Now I’ve not internet and to wait until Saturday and i work from home . I’ve been on WhatsApp for hours today trying to resolve and it’s not sorted. Can home owners sync device? I’ve rebooted and switched off for 30 mins
