Hiweird thing happening (previously happened with Hub3) I upgraded to 1 Gb recently after having some connection issues - all been well until yesterday when the same issue arose.Set up is that PC (no wifi fitted) is connected to Hub 5 with a known good ethernet cable.When I Switch on PC it is not connecting to internet and now the weird bit if i connect to Hub5 and then change the wifi signal of either 2.4 or 5Ghz - doesnt matter to what flavour of 802 it almost instantly connects to the internet!!This makes no sense to me - all other devices connected are fine just my pc...thought there was maybe a DNS issue so have flushed the cache to no availanyone have any ideas - only have windows defender now as deleted my 3rd party firewall/antivirus as it was causing other issuesnetwork set to private or public this still occursAny thoughts??thanksDoug

Before you spend any money see if you can get another device working when connected by cable or try the other three ports.

ill give those a look although im curious why changing a wifi signal on the router would get the ethernet connection to work - that doesnt seem to make any sense to me - just did it again just now after i restarted pc after the wifi change it shows connected by ethernet as it should

I often see folks desperately want the VM Hub to be the source of all their problems.I can't disregarding the reality that the current problem existed with the last VM Hub and the current VM Hub.Imagining writing my car performs poorly with Shell and Texaco fuels ... what would you conclude ? Both fuels were at issue ... or the car needed garage services.
