Getting a white wifi pod with 1GB broadband

I’ve had an amazing exchange on X today.  Virgin wont send a white plug in pod because you have to be on 500 MB or less and I have 1GB.  Unfortunately the location where the pod is needed doesn’t have a table anywhere near so it sits on the carpet.  However, if I downgrade the service, then I can get one - go figure??  Virgin would rather take a hit on their bottom line and upset customer satisfaction than show a bit of understanding and send the pod that customer finds most suitable - bizarre!

I get it - but why can’t the customer choose?  The white one would be a neater solution for me.

They are only WiFi-5 so won't see the full benefits of the faster speeds Gig1 provides.

VM are actually doing the right thing for once, trying to match the tech in the HUB with the tech in the pods.

If you aren't happy with this I suggest you purchase your own.

Quite Amazon has plenty of Wi-Fi Repeater that plug into the wall socket.

I hate boxes everywhere especially ones that need a power supply and/or Ethernet cabling. I only use ceiling mounted PoE WAPs.
