Engineer booked but not showing on my account

Hi struggling to get through on phone, can anyone help received new equipment issue with setting up so rang to arrange engineer call but due to bad line could not hear time.  Haven't received confirmation of appointment so tried to check on my virgin account which is saying no appointments booked.  Any suggestions how to check this
