Echo dot won't connect to wifi

We have recently moved from sky to virgin and everything is great except 1 of our echo dots refuses to coeect to the WiFi. We have 3 others which are all fine but 1 is not.

I've tried resetting it, turning the WiFi off, moving rooms and tried to use my phone to hot-spot it but nothing is working.

The alexa app can find the dot but when I put the details in for the WiFi it won't connect can anyone help?

Hi lozzaloz90 thanks for posting and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear you're unable to connect your 4th Echo dot to our hub. Were all 4 previously working on your former provider? When you say hotspot, do you mean just that? To essentially attempt to connect the dot you mobile data connection?

    Regards

Yes everything worked while we were with sky, I had a look online and it mentioned hotspotting it through my phone as a possible work around but that didn't work either so I ran out of things to try

Hey lozzalot90, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this isn't working.

Can I just confirm is it trying to connect to the 2/4GHZ?
