Echo dot not connecting too Wifi

Hi I rebooted my wifi hub the other day and now one of my 5th generation echo dots won't connect.  Amazon help being worse than useless but I am starting to wonder if I have accidentally blocked the device. ( the other Echo works fine) . When I look at Virgin Media connect app it shows I have 3 amazon devices one echo dot which is connected to hub and 2 amazon devices which are not connected.  How do I check if device is blocked and how would I unblock it if it was?

    Use the Hubs admin console and check the blocked devices in the MAC blocking section.  That’s all the Connect app does. 

  • Thanks for replies I actually managed to resolve it myself by manually adding the device through the router settings..

    Does that mean a WPS device is forgotten by the VM Hub when it is rebooted ?  

    Or was the Hub Reset button used, that would forget a WPS added device.

      WPS would be one of the first things to be disabled on any Router I use ......
