Connect App forcing me to optimise wifi

All started this morning.  Kept receiving a pop up stating that the network needs to be optimised to One wi-fi. The network was not perfect prior to this so I thought optimising my network might improve things further…this actually made my network unstable. It’s now dropping out every few seconds. When I go into the Connect app, it can no longer find my hub. What is going on and how does one-wifi work?

  • Hi Shaf78,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your hub connecting within the Connect App since making changes. When any changes are made, it can take 48 hours for things to update so this could be why it's no longer connecting.

How have things been since you last posted? If the hub still isn't connecting then please perform a pin hole reset on the hub. You'll need to ensure you hold the reset button in for a minimum of 60 seconds to ensure it all refreshes.

Keep us updated on how things go.

    Thanks,

      Hi Kath

Replacement Hub 4 delivered today...(was hoping it would be a 5 as i am subscribed to 1GB broaband)..so far so good. I won't bother with a wifi pod again as I reckon since I plugged that in....it all went haywire.

Also, I am still not able to see my hub on the Connect app (Hub not found).

      Thanks

Glad to hear this, with a new hub4 it may take some time for it to show it up in the app.

So don't worry about this to much for now, keep us updated if you need a pod in the future.

The Hub4 also work fine with a 1GB connection.
