Checking speed of 2.5Gbps port on Hub 5
I have my Hub 5 running in Modem mode, connected to a custom-built OPNsense router.
This router uses an Intel dual port 10Gbps NIC. In OPNsense, the WAN speed is set to "autoselect", currently running at 1000baseT (1GbE). The other end is connected to the 2.5Gbps port on the hub, via CAT6A. Thing is, in order for me to select 2500baseT on the WAN port, first I need to check the hub is running the same, but I don't see that as an option on the hub's interface. Seeing that the routers end is at 1000bastT, I can only assume the hub is the same, which would be surprising given that the NIC can run at all speeds 10GbE/5GbE/2.5GbE/1GbE/100Mb. I was under the assumption that the hub port would automatically max out if given the option at the other end, but obviously not. Can anyone confirm if they have a WAN port running at 2500baseT to match the hub? When the hub is in Router mode, is there an option to change the port speed then?
