Try this and see if it works
see this other possible solution - to get this to work you have to log into the Hub settings and disable the 5ghz wifi on the hub, and then reboot the Hub and try again.
Should force the Hive app to connect through the 2.4ghz band
Then go back in and reverse the process to restore the 5GHz band
