Is it Virgin or Hive?

Hi, since yesterday 24/01/26 my Hive thermostat stopped working which for me that meant my heating wasn’t coming on, i tried to sort it but nothing i done worked and then i thought to check virgin for any wifi problems, it’s showing there are problems at my postcode and they are fixing it by the 30/01/26. Does anyone know if this is lightly to be causing my hive to stop working please? I’ve tried everything Ive even contacted hive and they’ve yet to figure it out, I’ve googled and tried loads of videos on YouTube, i just can’t be without my heating for another 5 days, I can get someone to get to another switch to override the thermostat but then it just keeps going and going getting hotter and hotter and costing me a fortune using extra gas until I can get someone to come and stop it as it’s not possible for me to get to it. If it’s possible the fault is with Virgin could they sort it out before 30th as we’re in the middle of winter please.

    If you can Google and watch YouTube the internet is working.

    Is there are Hive Hub that connects to the VM Hub,
    is that connected as expected and is the thermostat still paired to it ?

    Does a Hive thermostat require replacement batteries ?

      I can google and watch YouTube with or without wifi cos i just use my data if the wifi is down. The hub is connected to the VM box but it keeps disconnecting, the thermostat is disconnected atm and yes Ive changed the batteries, that was the first thing I did. On the app the only one that’s showing as connected is the one in the cupboard next to the boiler.

    You should still.be able to control your heating/water from the thermostat. All the schedules once setup on the app transfer to the thermostat.

      I have thermostat that keeps disconnecting and atm it’s disconnected, i have the hub connected to my wifi box that also keeps disconnecting and the one in the cupboard next to the boiler is intermittent, my nephew came and spoke to hive, they got all 3 connected then 2 minutes later the thermostat was off again, so without the app and thermostat connected I can’t get any heating.
