Cannot Transfer O2 ID

I have just joined Virgin Media on a 24 month contract for broadband only. As I have begun setting up the account, I keep being told that 'We've found your Virgin Media account. However, this account is linked to any email address that's different to the one on your Virgin Media O2 ID'. I have never used a different email when dealing with Virgin Media and have therefore run out of attempts to set up my account. I have also tried to cancel m contract through the 14 day cooling off period clause but the issues with my account are also preventing this happening. Has anyone experienced similar and is able to offer any advice?

    Sorry to hear of the issues experienced with the registration for the My Virgin Media services.

    Can you please confirm if you have attempted to clear the cache on your browser and then re-attempting this to see if this can be completed?

    If this issue is still ongoing, after you have attempted to clear cache, or alternatively you've attempted an alternative browser, we can take this to a private message and assist you with the registration.

    I’m in the same boat and it has restricted me from trying to sign in again until tomorrow, won’t let me link my account to the vo2 page whatsoever
