In short, I want to block some sites for my child who I have found out has been chatting to AI chatbots.
I can’t save any settings and everything on the forum looks to point to an issue that has been going on years.
I’ve looked to block directly on the router too, which I can’t do apparently.
Does anyone have any advice or workarounds?
1. Give up on VM tools.
2. Get a better router.
3. Put VM hub in modem mode and connect to the new router.
4. Set new router DNS servers to Cloud Flare.

6. Any technical solution can be overcome and having the conversation will always be important.
7. Good old fashioned discipline.
Focus on education of the risks presented by the internet.
I'd avoid VM Child Safe it causes more problems than it solves such as blocking VPN and Conf Calls etc etc ...
Parental control should be on the device Phone/PC the hub is innocent so is VM network

Sorry to hear that you've not been able to block some sites you don't want your child to access.
You can as the community has advised, block sites on the device themselves, either on the device software or on the browsers that you have installed.
