Broadband wifi issues
I have been using Virgin Media broadband for several months now, but unfortunately, the service I am receiving does not meet the level I was initially promised.
Our household consists of four people across a two-story home, with myself, my wife, and our two school-aged children all requiring internet access for work and studies. However, the WiFi signal only functions reliably on the ground floor, specifically in the office where the router is connected. To ensure I can work effectively, I’ve resorted to connecting my computer directly to the router in the office, which is far from ideal.
The signal strength on both the first and second floors is extremely poor, and by the evening, it’s nearly impossible to watch TV or access the internet in our living room on the second floor. Despite several calls to customer service, the problem remains unresolved, and I’ve been informed there appears to be "no issue" with the service.
In some instances, all four of us have been forced to work in the office due to inadequate WiFi coverage, which is neither comfortable nor sustainable. I am requesting urgent assistance to find a solution that will enable consistent WiFi coverage throughout our home.
