Broadband available in postcode but isn't for my address.

Hi there, 

I am about to move house and from postcode checker my area does have Virgin Media Broadband available but when selecting my address it tells me that my address isn't covered. I can see and select my neighbors address which says it is available but for some reason mine isn't. 

Another point to note is that I'm moving into a flat and it's not the address of each individual flat that is appearing, but the general address of the flat building. Hopefully someone will be able to contact me about this.

    Have you been to the Flats?  Did you see any sign of a VM connection to the building?  It could be the management for the flats have not given permission for VM to install? Is there an alternative ISP supply in the flats already?

      I have been to the flats, didn't see any sign of a VM connection at a first glance. There are a couple other ISPs available, such as Sky, but their packages are quite poor compared to the sorts of speeds I am looking for
