One approach would be to change the Hub 5 Wi-Fi SSID & Password to match what you used with the previous ISP.
Don’t use WiFi if you have the cameras for security. They are useless, as it’s so easy to jam a WiFi signal.
Just another person expecting too much from the hub that VM don't support and just want you in the same room as the hub for connection to the internet from a PC or phone...
Thanks for reaching out to us CapableCaribou, and a very warm welcome to you!
Sorry to hear of the issues experienced with the blink cameras and doorbell.
It may be worth raising this with the manufacturer of the product to see what support can be issued.
From a Virgin Media standpoint, we would urge you to ensure you run a speed test over Wi-Fi at the location of where these are installed to ensure that the minimum download speed we guarantee of 30mbs is reached in that location.
If 30mbs isn't being achieved, it may be worth speaking to our team to ensure that Wi-Fi Max is added to your account for a monthly fee of £8.00 or without charge when subscribing to 1GB.
Alternatively, you can also work to review your home setup to help improve the quality of the Wi-Fi services - via our helpful online literature.
Thanks,
