Archer T9E /Virgin Hub 5

Hello

I had to move my PC upstairs anf my Virgin media Hub is in the room below.

My PC has Wifi card so was lucky still connect .

But the Network Adapter shows wifi 4 (802.11a and 2,4 ghz on channel 11   1300/144

I have latest driver for the card.

But testing the speed i only get Download 10 and Upload  23

If I moved my PC into same room get Download  85 and Upload 25 still showing  2.3 frequency

TP link support thinks card might be faulty and recommended TX20E or TX55E.

I rather know if its my card or its normal. Or is there settings to be altered.

Regards

Stephen

For best results your PC needs to use a network card rated at wifi 6. If you can't replace the internal card you can get an external one that plugs into the USB.

For best speeds use the 5GHz band.

That TX20E would be a better fit for the Hub 5, as it's Wifi 6 ax protocol.
