2.5ghz

I have just moved to virgin, everything was stopped over nice and easy until I came to my camera, they run on 2.5ghz. I managed to split the 2.5ghz from the 5ghz but I cannot get it connecting on the 2.5ghz. can you help me set these up

  • 2.4Ghz I assume?

You can try disabling 5Ghz in the HUB settings whilst setting up the 2.4Ghz devices, then re-enable after.

Access the HUB from 192.168.0.1 in a web browser (Login credentials on the base, NOT the WiFi credentials!).

Have you set the SSID / Password of your VM Hub to match the settings of all your Wi-Fi kit ?

VM don't support setup devices like a camera and they don't like supporting a PC some times.

You get better support not from VM but by a 3rd party router with 1Gb ports and use hub in modem mode.

Sorry not sure what you mean by this, does this mean I have to have a second broadband or can I run attach a different modem to my VM router, I have tried installing a repeater, which installed to the VM hub but wouldn't let me setup any 2.5ghz devices and it slowed all my internet down

        Get a router like this

        https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-Nighthawk-WiFi-Router-RAX30/dp/B09HQV62TF/?th=1

        Put hub in modem mode
