You can't the hub is simple not advanced...in fact it should not even have guest network really
get your own router that can use hub in modem mode

What makes you think the Hub 3 Guest network is transmitting on 5GHz ?

It's set for 2.4 and 5 and my phone shows only 5 but I would like 2.4 I could disable the 5 but that would be lower speed to my laptop

Why wouldn't you like your guests to use the faster wifi?

VM give you a feature and you complain about it how the person who put modem mode in the hub as a option never got any complains about it when setup right.

I have no idea what your are talking about

Then the hub is doing what its meant too.

There are no 5GHz settings for a Hub 3 Guest network.
See below .... - Client62Alessandro Volta
Disable the 5GHz Wi-Fi on the VM Hub and re-attempt the installation of the CCTV kit & do be following the makers installation guide to the letter.
Once the cameras are installed and working, you can re-enable the 5GHz band.
Sometimes the real problem is the app that manages the cameras is suspect and fails to work correctly when the mobile + app are on a different Wi-Fi band to the camera.
We don't use the Guest Wi-Fi of our Hub 3.- oldgiffordTuning in
Thanks for that. I did try it but it didn't work, I think it's because my phone will only connect the 5ghz signal. Cheers OG

You don't mention what error you see trying to connect the mobile to the 2.4GHz band.
My Samsung phone fails to connect on the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band only if the VM Hub has elected to use Channel 13. ( we can see this in the Hub admin menu )
After setting the 2.4GHz band to manual Channel 1 or 6 or 11 my Samsung mobile does connect to the VM Hub on the 2.4GHz band.
