Essential Safety not working at all
Inappropriate sites not being blocked, websites specified in block list still accessible. Not using VPN. Please help.

Now I understand, the OP is faced with the VM Online Account not functioning,
numerous customers have complained about this for over 3 years.
It really is one of the most long standing defects that VM just do not fix.Did you say years?
I just joined 2 weeks ago and I'm experiencing being unable to change settings
To get you over the hurdle whilst VM fix the issue, you can manually set the DNS on the device(s) to use Cloudflare Adult and Malware filters. Set the DNS to 1.1.1.3 and 1.0.0.3 manually. This will bypass the VM DNS servers until the issue is fixed.
To work VM Parental Controls require the device to use the default DNS from the VM Hub,
this will be bypassed by enabling a different DNS on the device and / or in a Web Browser.
Apple Relay and Cloudflare WARP are in common use and these are often not realised as being VPNs that will also bypass VM or any other ISP's Parental Controls.Not using either.

To confirm, have you activated Parental control via your online account?

Not able to double-check at the moment - this error seems to appear quite a lot. But I'm pretty sure it is activated cos websites were being blocked a few weeks ago, it's only fairly recently it's stopped blocking.
