Power off

Can someone please explain why my TiVo box completely shuts down after so many hours, is there a way to switch this off so box stays on till I want to switch it off. Thanks

  • Hi Dave,

You posted regarding a CS9995 connection problem <here> 10 days ago. You haven't followed up on that thread to confirm if a) the issue is fixed, or b) which tv set top box you have.

The CS9995 error doesn't occur on tivo boxes (either the original tivo or the V6 box) so it looks like you now have a TV360 box which runs the Horizon interface rather than tivo.  If so you now have a remote control that also has a voice button.  If thats the  case then you need to click on  Settings (the cogwheel on the right hand side at the top of the screen) and then click on System and scroll down and click on Standby Timer and select 24 hours.

Settings > System > Standby Timer >   select 24 hours
