v6 sound diminished

Over the last few days i have noticed a significant change in the volume from my

V6 Box

First of all i rebooted my box checked all cables were in securely

I have checked HDMI cables i even swapped them over from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2

On swapping these over i tried my V6 box and my blueray box for sound

on doing this twice the BlueRays sound perfect V6 box diminished significantly

even through NetFix and other streaming APPS

i have done all the checks according to virgin media

So now what?

i mean im no engineer so what do i know i just did what i was told

Like everyone we pay our bill each month and i think its time VM stood up and started using their engineers

to help people sort out problems like this its not our job we are not engineering experts

And before being told to do something else you should know my 2nd T6 box in my bedroom is perfect

which also has a bluray box in HDMI2

    Apologies for the issues you are having with sound quality on your V6 box, to resolve this the setup needs a couple of minor changes. If you are using a soundbar you need to set it up in ARC format with the cabling from the V6 box to the TV then the soundbar from the tv via the ARC HDMI port (usually HDMI 1). Once complete should there be any issues with sound, the settings on the V6 box and tv please ensure they are set for PCM on the V6 and HS+DMI ARC on the tv for the soundbar.
