V6 problem

I ham having problems with my v6 box , on the diagnostics page on my account , it says virgin cannot connect to my kit , i have explained this over the phone but i do not think it is understood , it still says the same and now after a reset it does nothing but show a download icon over and over again 🤨

    If your box has already got stuck in the Welcome Screen/Starting Up/Downloading loop once, then it is already having internal problems that will eventually result in a failure. If you are in the process of migrating to 360, this is not good anyway. The reset you have already done, from my own experience, reloads the TiVO firmware, and also stopped the 360 conversion app from appearing for a couple of weeks after.

  • The original problem was I got the 360 remote to upgrade box via app , but app not on v6 , they tried to fix but failed. ,but all along as I mentioned it says on there website cannot connect to home kit under tv tab , broadband and phone no problem. In frustration I have done a reset on box with + and power button . I did tell agent all this

    Is the underlying problem here (the reason for you using the online diagnostics page), that your V6 has the download icon stuck on, and is therefore inoperable?

    And if so, was that what you explained to the faults agent? What was the solution they offered you?
