TV guide not updating

My tv guide hasn't updated since the early hours of Monday. When I check the system it says that there is programme info up to Mon 2nd July. When I check the network connection the box seems to be successfully updating every 6 hours, as is usual. I have tried to force a connection to update, it connects to network, says it's downloading, and successfully completes.  However there is nothing new downloaded and the tv guide still shows up to Mon 2nd.  I have tried rebooting, but that doesn't change anything. When I check the service status page on the website it shows Broadband connectivity issues on the tv, but broadband is working perfectly, and if there were connectivity issues the box wouldn't be able to successfully connect to the network.

I did wonder if its me, but I have spoken to a number of neighbours, family and friends, who live locally and in other parts of the country, to ask if they could check the service status of their equipment. All came back with "Broadband connectivity issues" with tv.  Therefore I can't believe its just the 6 of us, so it must be a nationwide VM issue.

However, there is nowhere on the service status page that says its a nationwide issue, or that VM are aware of this issue, and no timeframe when this is going to fixed. Given its a bank holiday weekend, it might take longer than expected

So has this happened with anyone else - Showing "Broadband Connectivity Issues" on the Tv section of service status, or know what I can do to solve this if it is happening to just a few random people.

Any ideas would be grateful.

Try checking with Area faults on  0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.   However if it is on the Status page, it could be a fairly large issue.  If you have reset your box and it's fully updated, then there is not much you can do.

As this is a Community Forum, and not a direct line to VM as such, it will take a day or two for a VM Mod to pick this up.  If you need is urgent, it would be best to phone Customer Services directly.

There's a few bits in here. You mention your guide having info upto Monday 2nd July? That's more than a month out...

For the main PSB channels (101-105) you should currently have listings upto & including Friday 30th May. Between Friday 23-Sunday 25th the second week should populate and those listings go upto Friday 6th June. Most pay-channels have a rolling 12-14 day cycle.

I also get the "broadband issues with TV" on the status page, and have done for a few months now.

Sorry it should have said 2nd June not July.

At least its normal for the Broadband issues.  So that's not causing this issue.  Maybe VM just haven't updated the TV Guide from Mon 2nd June, for any channels.

There is nothing wrong with the EPG on your V6 box Jude2.

VM receive the info from the 3rd party broadcasters and can only provide/update the program information when it's received from the 3rd parties.

My 360 box had the same guide info as yourself, although now some of the Sky and U channels have updated to show programs for the 3rd June.

As per japitts the information for the main PSB channels  (plus ITV2,3,4 etc) won't populate until at least 23rd May, in fact it may be later with it being the Spring bank holiday.
