Pluto TV
Is Pluto TV now no more on the Virgin V6 box, or is the message I am seeing on-screen a temporary blip? Pluto does also not feature in the Apps section. Do I really need to ring Virgin over this?

As you have found Pluto TV has been withdrawn from the V6 powered by TiVo platform. No need to ring Virgin unless you want to switch to the TV360 which, I understand, still carries Pluto TV.
Thank you, Graham. I will keep the V6 box. I can connect to Pluto via my TV set, but I was curious as to why it would disappear from the V6 box.
Graham's reply covers it, but I'm left curious what menu options you're following, to get this pop-up. The shortcut has been removed from the menu on my box.
Did you have a VoD bookmark to it? (I didn't think Pluto had EPG integration)
