I don't use it very often but I've noticed that, with the exception of just a few channels such as C5, the ability to play something from catch up has disappeared from the TV guide on my 'V6 not upgraded to 360' box. The C symbol has gone from pretty much anything, past present & future on the guide.
Is this something VM have done away with or would it be a fault on my box or a local error on the system? The service status page says I have no faults.

A V6 runs TiVo-software, a TV360 runs Horizon-software and is fundamentally different.
You've posted in the V6 forum, but are you saying you have converted to TV360? If so, you don't have a V6 anymore, and your box now has completely different software with many substantial differences.

Ah right - quite a few users on here would refer to "V6 upgraded to TV360" in the scenario where they have converted to TV360 but don't realise it's a completely different TV service.
Checked my V6 this morning and you're right - the CatchUp flag has disappeared from 101-104 completely, and from quite a few days on 105. Clearly an EPG data error, it's happened before and is usually rectified in a few days.
You can use the "search & explore" function in the meantime, or of course record any programmes that you know you'll want to watch.

The same thing has happened to me ... just yesterday. Channel 5 and some Sky channels have the icon but missing from 101-104. I called customer support and after a long time spent checking I was told it would take 2 or 3 days for the other channels to get the icon back.
Is this happening to everyone with a V6 box or is it a local fault/issue?

There have been some changes to the EPG CatchUp flag - for C5 & any other broadcaster using VM's in-house VoD system, normal service should now be resumed.
For any broadcaster using their own app, the EPG no longer links directly but the "explore" option can still be used to access "search & explore" - from there, episodes can be loaded directly from the menu system as before. This at least prevents the need to load the app and navigate internally.
So I think you're saying the icons won't reappear on the guide for channels like BBC1 & 2, ITV and Channel 4. Is that the case? If so why wasn't this communicated to the V6 population ... or was it?
Correct - the "Watch from Catchup" icons will not be reappearing on the EPG for any channel that uses their own streaming app. This currently means BBC1/2/3/4, ITV, C4.
Changes to the menu system aren't always communicated, and there's an easy workaround as mentioned in my previous post.
Just noticed your reply on next page to Andrew Fisher confirming the icons won't reappear.
Someone should tell the Virgin Support Team this ... as they told me they would come back in a few days. The either didn't know or were just lying. Also can't believe Virgin wouldn't alert customers to a change like this.

Find a programme in the EPG, press "OK" and the bottom option should be "Explore" - it access the exact same menu structure as you've found via Home > Search & Explore
