Virgin 360 upgrade issue

I ordered my new 360 remote and it has arrived today. I have clicked on the install now app and I keep getting the error UPGRADE FAIL ma1/4/conversion_completed. I have reset the box from other forums and tried again later but still have the error. Is there any other suggestions? Thanks

    Sorry to hear that you're having issues with upgrading the set-top box. 

    Would you please try the steps provided here by the Community member newapollo to see if this helps resolve this issue. This seemed to have resolved that error for the customer experiencing the same issue. 

    Keep us posted with how you get on.

      I have tried all of the suggestions on the other post above and none have worked i keep getting the same error. Mine doesn't have the 11 in it though it just says conversion_completed at the end

        I am sorry to hear this. 

        Just to confirm are you trying to do this with the new remote or the old one? 

        Are you going through the box to update this via the steps? 

         

        1.) Turn on all V6 boxes: take your current TV boxes off standby and check that they're connected to the Internet, ready to download TV 360.

        2.) Pop the telly on: check that it's set to the correct Input and that Virgin TV is playing.

        At this stage, there are two potential options for the next step:
        3i.) Grab the old V6 remote: tap the Home button, select Sky Sports+ on Virgin TV 360 at the bottom or the Virgin TV 360 Free Upgrade box at the top of the TV screen.

        3ii.) Grab the old V6 remote control: tap the Home button, select Apps & Games > All Apps > Upgrade To Virgin TV 360 Now.

        4.) The "Upgrade now to Virgin TV 360" screen will appear. To proceed, select the top menu option, "Get Virgin TV 360"
