update

when i turn on 360  box i get this message

the software is complete some user settings have changed during update

                                         OK

when click on OK nothing happens my remote has been disabled

this happens every time i switch on, the only  way to remove it is to switch of and back on

but this disables my sound bar and i have to reset that every time

hope someone can help   thankyou

    Please can you post an image of the message as the 'update' may not be a message from the 360 box, it may be from other equipment such as your actual TV or soundbar..

    If your 360 remote is still working? Have you checked the 360 Settings > Audio & Video > Pair remote with Devices > to see if the soundbar is still paired,  and also Settings > Audio & Video > Volume keys control - that will either be paired with your TV or soundbar, clicking on either will switch the control, then press the back button on the 360 remote to save that selection and exit.

      Thanks for updating the thread, glad to see the issue has now been resolved.

      Please can you advise what was the actual caused was by and how was it resolved in the end? This may help others users with the same/similar issue going forward.
