Tv360 stoarage full but no recordings

Hi,

How can I contact VM customer service? I pay for "record tv service" but I'm unable to us it at all. I've got a new contract and I have no recordings at all yet but the storage is showing full. I want to get it working or get a money off my contract as the service advertised is not provided. Thanks

    Hi Malina423

Have you tried factory resetting the 360 box?

To factory reset go to Settings (the cog at the end of the Home menu) > System > Factory Reset. It's actually misnamed and only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options

    Keep Recordings
    Format Disk

Normally I would suggest choosing Keep Recordings, which means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up. You will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again. Also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

However since you don't actually have any recording choose the Format Disk option.

    Hi Malina423

Thanks for posting on our community forum and sorry to hear about the issue with the TV360 storage.

Have you been able to try the above tips from the very helpful newapollo? Please do give this a try and keep us updated with how you get on.

    Regards

I recently returned to Virgin and I'm massively regretting it. The new TV service is a huge downgrade from what we had before - as far as I can tell it's now a premium price for a service worse than a lot of free TV services. We're getting the same problems with storage being full. Recording almost always fails so we're watching everything through apps. Counting down the days until we can leave Virgin for good.

      Hey Biker2day,

Welcome back to the Community Forums and thanks for the post.

Sorry to hear you feel this way, with regards to your recordings and storage, have you checked that the auto delete settings are on and how you would want them to be, this will help clear up your storage.

The storage didn't need clearing up. It was showing as full even after deleting most programs. I did a reset without formatting and it was showing as only 21% full, it worked for about 24 hours but the problem returned and it was showing as full again despite not recording anything new.

Yesterday  I reset with formatting, and it seems to be working, but I won't hold my breath.
