Sorry but you have discovered the major difference, there is no recently deleted recordings folder. If you accidently delete a recording then I'm afrid there is no way to get it back. It's been passed on as feedback many times and seems unlikely to change.
TV360 is based on the Horizon Entertainment Platform which is Liberty Global (VM's owners) inhouse system which was originally rolled out in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium. The platform has been specially adapted to fit into the UK market and provide recordings. In the rest of Europe it uses cloud storage which is the next path VM are on with the introducation of their Ip based Stream boxes.
When pressing the red button to set a recording, on the screen that opens click on Advanced options. Another screen opens with additional options. The series link starts from the season you set it too ie if there are 8 seasons and you set the 1st recording at season 4 it will record seasons 4 to 8. The 360 no longer records repeats of shows that you have watched and then deleted.
If you want to delete a show from the Recordings screen instead of clicking OK and 'Delete recording' you can press the Record button and you get the 'Delete show' option.
The Delete Shows option is in Recordings > Recorded > View All > Manage Storage. You'll need your PIN. If you have more than one series recorded and you want to delete the whole series, select the series on the left and press record button and you'll get a 'Delete series' menu.
VM don't currenlly need the older tivo boxes to be returned, however you can either use yuor own packaging, request returns packaging, or return the equipment via a nearby O2 store (All VM stores in the UK closed with the outbreak of Covid).
You can use the following online webform to request packaging
/virgin-media-return-or-recycle-equipment/request-returns-pack
You can also use the following link to print out your own returns label and use your own packaging.
https://www.yodel.co.uk/returns/virgin
After clicking Create a new label. you will be prompted for your email address. Once you receive the email you will be able to print out a returns label which includes a barcode. You can then parcel up your equipment and drop it off at the nearest Collect + store. Enclose a covering note with your account number and details of the returned equipment including serial numbers.
Make sure you receive a tracking receipt and keep it safe.
** Use either or both of the following links to find your nearest store (they have different shops listed)
https://www.collectplus.co.uk/find-a-store
https://www.collectplus.yodel.co.uk/store-locator?v=2.
You can also return your equipment via an O2 store if you have a local one. If you do take that route then make a note of your account number along with the serial numbers of any equipment you are returning and give that to the O2 staff, retaining a copy yourself and possibly get them to sign for it/and or take a photo.
