    You've hit on one of the (many) fundamental differences between TiVo-software on a V6 & Horizon-software on a TV360.

V6 are fundamentally recording-centric, with each box being totally independent with full inter-box streaming. Meaning separate & independent recording pools that are share-able/

TV360 is an online-centric OS, which is designed around one master-box with the HDD, and additional boxes all being TV360-mini without recording capability. Thus all boxes access the one collective recording pool.

Converting multiple V6 into TV360-master provides some mitigation and allows each box to retain the HDD-capacity. But the software design around one central recording pool is unavoidable.

No idea on the recording error message, hopefully someone who uses a TV360 may be along to assist. I still use a V6.

  • You can set which box to make a recording on if they are both main 360's by clicking on Record, then on the next screen click Advanced Options, then on the next screen click on Choose TV Box, then select the box, then click on Record. That program will then be recorded on that box going
    forward.

When going to Recordings > Recorded > Recorded you can select each box individually and the interface now lists the percentage used on each box.

Usually if you only get the "delete" option on a recording it's because it's failed to record and you sometimes get an error message saying why, or for some reason it's not available.

  • Hi Liviboy 👋.

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome the Community Forums, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with your 360 boxes. They do work independent from each other, should some of the recordings not play this can be down to the previous format as well as availability on the 360 box that may not allow them to be shown.

Have you checked since the upgrade to 360 if the programs in questions are available on Catchup or OnDemand?
