Switching Broadband do I need to Cancel TV 360?

Because Virgin could not match the price I can get FTTP for, I reluctantly decided to switch broadband and phone services away from Virgin Media to a FTTP provider.

Virgin Media have been notified that I am leaving them by my new provider and they acknowledge that but will I have to separately notify them that I will also no longer be needing TV 360?

It SHOULD cancel automatically, as V360 operates on an internal network & cannot be used on another ISPs Broadband. VM should ask for the return of the kit, which is rented.

I suspect that it should have been flagged at point of disconnection being requested, and thus if it hasn't been - you'll be in for the surprise of the TV360 stopping working when the VM broadband is disconnected. It may just work for live TV, but you'll lose all the online functions which includes EPG updates and recording.

I couldn't care less if it still works in any capacity I never used it in the 18 months I've had it

I only got it because I got a better deal with it for broadband than without it.

  • It is more likely that you will be trying to work out a way of finally getting VM off your back re the return of its contraptions.

For 20 years all I could get for internet was Virgin or crappy copper wire internet.

Now I can get FTTP and SkyQ  for £43 less than what I would pay if I retained both Virgin and Sky.
