Soundbar issue after 360 free upgrade

Upgraded last week and ever since my soundbar connected via ARC to the TV drops connection and reverts back to the TV speakers. I’m normally clued up on this stuff and this is very frustrating.  

It will work for a brief period of time and then suddenly the sound will be via TV speakers.

Anyone else has this problem?
