It looks like version 5.17 has been skipped this time. With the new 5.18 update, the box starts up on the home screen rather than the last channel watched. There is a QR code there that when scanned links to a page about the changes that have been made, although this is not very informative. If this was a proper changelog it would be much better, but it's a step in the right direction, I guess. Maybe there are more changes in this update, but I have yet to find any.

There appears to be some minor changes since I received the 5.18 software update a few weeks ago. The QR code that appeared on the home screen has gone and the box no longer starts on the home screen, rather on the last channel watched. This is an improvement. I was getting irritated by the extra clicks involved in getting from the home screen to the channel I wanted to watch. This was usually the last channel viewed. The QR link would have mainly been useful to anyone unfamiliar with the 360 interface.
Yh it was annoying me as well so glad it been tweaked just which they sort the EPG out
5.18 has arrived here. No QR code but apparently they've squashed some bugs etc etc
