Problems with 360 Box and TV

We have recently upgraded our TV with the Virgin TV 360 Box and I wish we hadn't.  You turn the TV on and we get No Signal and No Imput on the screen. We have tried all the suggestions in the booklet 'Tips & Tricks' and we now spend at least half an hour each evening trying to figure out how to get a channel to watch something. This is so frustrating. Gone are the days when we could just switch it on by pressing a couple of buttons like before. I understand technology has moved on but this thing is ridiculous.  Please could someone advise how we can watch our TV for a full evening. We have read all the printed literature for advice and have looked at the Virgin Media website for help. Hope someone can help and shine a light on what could be wrong. Thank you.

  • So have you updated a V6 TiVo box to 360.

If you have paired the 360 remote to your TV you should be able to press the white TV button to check, that should just turn the TV off and on if correctly paired. The red power button will turn on both the 360 and your TV if One power is set to on (Settings, System, One power), you will also need to check that HDMI control is turned on, on your TV.

  • Hi WendyGT,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with getting the box on. When using the Virgin remote, pressing on should bring the box to life. You'll need to ensure the TV is on the right input for the 360 box too.

If you've not already done it, you can pair your Virgin remote to the TV so when pressing on, it turns both the TV and 360 box. By doing this, it should also automatically select the right input too. You can find help on doing that here.

Let us know if you have any further issues.

    Many thanks,
