Peter, swap your TV box, to access Sky Sports+

I have Sky Sports on my V6 box. What extra do I get by switching to a TV360? I'm a bit hesitant to switch because I have many recordings on the V6 that I'm reluctant to lose. Which I would have to if I switch. Unfortunately I can't copy them off the V6.

Any help, thoughts, appreciated. Peter.

  • Many thanks for your reply. There's enough football on the Sky Sports and TNT channels to keep me happy. I enjoy tennis but don't need the ability to access every court. As you say, I could lose all my recordings if the V6 fails. I think I'll wait until that happens before making a choice. ATM the negatives out way the positives for me.

  • You'll loose the recordings as your know but the current big gain is the Sky Sports + app. But you would loose all your recordings if the box developed a fault anyway.

On the football side you'll have access to every EFL game - league, cup and trohpy - except those at 3pm on a Premier League Saturday.

All twelve on tongiht's EFL Trophy would be available to you as long as you have Sky Sports sub.

If you're a tennis fan then from next week every court of the US Open will be available.

Also be aware, that's not made clear in marketing material, that TV360 is fundamentally a different TV platform to TiVo/V6. A very similar analogy is moving between Apple & Android.

There are many pros & cons of both platforms, VM have confirmed plans to add the Sky Sports HD multiscreen to V6 but there are no timescales for it - if you want that service now, then that's a good reason to migrate to TV360.

Thanks for your reply. As I said in my reply to Ozsat, for me the negatives far out way the positives ATM so I'll keep the V6 box..
