Paused program playback reverts to previous time repeatedly

Please forgive the title, as I wasn't sure what to call it, and a search didn't return any one reporting similar behaviour.

Here's my description of the issue:

Pause a live program for a while (TV360 allows a longer pause than TiVo allowed) and whilst paused, the next scheduled program starts. You press play, and after a few minutes the program loops back to a prior point without warning.

Brain eventually connects and says "Haven't I seen this already?!" so you ffwd to find where you were and it loops again, and again...

Very frustrating, and to me at least, clearly a bug.

Seen across 2 different TV360s (we have 3)

 

Anyone else experienced this have a fix or workaround?

    I use a V6, so am in no position to help with specifics here, but...

    If a programme is being recorded, a V6 will pause as long as the length of the scheduled recording allows. In any other circumstance, it will pause for an hour. I only mention this because you've passed comment on the pause being longer than a TiVo will allow, which makes me think you're pausing for longer than 60minutes when this happens.

    On that basis... does this only happen when you're pausing for longer than 60mins AND beyond the point of programme changeover?

    It certainly sounds like a bug with the recording logic.
