I'd not be happy to be 70 either

  • DO NOT GO 360

you don’t get a new box just get a new remote.

tell virgin that you dont want to change. I have had nothing but trouble since I changed.

if you phone you can’t speak to a human.

    good luck

FYI you'd added to someone else's thread who had a TiVo and not a V6. In their case they would have got a new physical box - the TiVo cannot be converted to run Horizon software.

Thanks I have rebooted and now getting cs9999 but still not go apps recordings etc and now getting a black screen when I go to home.

why can’t virgin admit that they have f*****d up and give us some compensation. This has been going on for weeks.

Have you rebooted the 360 box?  Have you rebooted the hub?

Are there any lights showing on the front of the 360 box when pressing Home and getting the black screen?  It's possible that you've accidently turned the TV or 360 box off when pressing the Home button, by also pressing either the white TV button in the left hand corner of the 360 remote, or by pressing the red power button in the top right hand corner of the 360 remote.

Are there any lights showing on the front of the 360 box whenyou are  getting error message CS9999, (or any other error code), or not being able to access apps, recordings etc?

All the error codes beginning CS99  refer to internet connection problems.  These will stop you accessing apps, on demand and catch up services.  In some instances those error codes mean you can't access the 360 box settings or the recorded programs.

How are you connecting your 360 box to the internet?   Are you using a wired (ethernet) or wifi (wireless) connection?

If posible you should use a wired connection by connecting one end of an ethernet cable to your VM hub and the other end to the ethernet port on the back of your 360 box. If you already connect  using this method then make sure that the ethernet cable is connected firmly at both ends s they can sometimes become loose (you might need to unplug and reinsert them)
