No play option on some recordings .

Hi all.

Went on a fortnights holiday and on return started to catch up with our regular programs on series record, all recorded as normal.

We noticed that some of these programs, when selected do not have a play option, and accidentally deleted the first as that was the first option.

any solution to this please .

  • If you don't get the "play" option it's usually a sign that the recording has failed for some reason, you sometimes get a message saying why, it could be that the programme was switched between channels usually this happens with BBC1 programmes if the program has been switched to BBC2 because they are showing something special.

If you say which programmes you are missing this might help with getting an answer.

The programs are all showing as no fault and non have that semi circle sign that you get if a recording is not fully recorded such as during a power cut,

examples were first four (over two days) of Dr Who and Dream Farm on Channel 4. Both on a Saturday and one out of 10 Emmerdales (a Monday).

At least you should be able to watch those through catch up TV.
