New 360 remote problem

I have received my new 360 remote and have followed the instructions to set up the box. Now my new remote will not switch the TV off or on and will not adjust the volume. Any ideas/advice?

    I had this problem too. The remote had dud batteries so I suggest you check them first.

    We're sorry to hear the new remote won't control the TV. This will need to be re-setup. 

    You can find steps to do this here. Once you click on 360, there'll be an option that says Control your TV with the Virgin TV remote. Click this and follow the steps 😊
