Mini box not recording.

We had our main 360 box replaced yesterday as it wouldn't record but the mini box would record fine.
The engineer said the mini box would sync up to the main box and left it at that.

Now our problem has reversed.  The new 360 box he installed records ok but the mini box won't record.
If you press the record button nothing happens on the TV but the LED on the box itself flashes every time you press the button.
I tried pairing the remote to the box but nothing changed.  I also tried a factory reset and nothing changed

Any ideas or is it engineer back out and another new box?

    Have you tried resetting/power cycle both boxes?  Changed the batteries in the remotes? Reconnected the Wifi/Ethernet? Rebooted the Hub to refresh the DHCP?

      Power cycled the mini box, changed the batteries in the mini box's remote. Not done the others yet.

        If you have some recordings on the main 360 box does the mini box show them and allow you to play them.

        You could try turning both boxes off and the hub, then turn the hub back on and let it fully reboot before turning the main box on, let that reboot and then turn the mini box on.

        The mini box might need a factory reset, no problems doing that on the mini as it doesn't have any recordings.

        You could also have a look on the TVGO app to see if both boxes have the correct serial numbers showing and the default recording box is your new 360 main box, also try setting a recording from the app.
